He brings his drive and passion to everything he does. When he’s not building a house or consulting on a building, he is either writing / playing his music, or else he’s off on a century ride on his bike.
He also enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and ice hockey.
Caroline continues her passion for photography and maintains her own photography business, Caroline de Sola Photography. She has a love of creating warmth in home environments.
Since moving from Chicago to Boston, she has become an avid cyclist and a reluctant skier.

3iVE LLC, pronounced /THRiVE/, operates in two distinct realms: Building Envelope Services and Architectural Design. Each set of services shares our passion for quality design and construction, as well as our commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.
3iVE is committed to improving our collective quality of of life by producing beautifully conceived and crafted buildings for our clients and users. We believe that buildings with the right attributes can dramatically improve the lives of their inhabitants, as well as those of their neighbors and fellow citizens.
It is a commonly cited industry statistic that approximately 40% of the United States’ energy usage comes from buildings. Can you imagine a world where 40% of US energy was produced by buildings? Can we possibly achieve this? Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

- Verifying built results with expert observation and testing to make sure buildings perform in accordance with their Owner’s needs and requirements.
